An enclosure for a terrace or balcony can provide protection from wind and rain. Its level of comfort depends on the system and the project design.
Sliding or folding configurations preserve an opening to the outdoors. The glass, fixings, ventilation and water drainage should be considered together.
A glazed enclosure does not automatically turn a terrace into an insulated habitable room. Before approving the project, check the building constraints and applicable permissions with the relevant local contacts.
For selected glazed enclosures, Eko-Okna’s Slide Glass is a sliding option without thermal insulation and should be used only where that characteristic suits the intended application.
